kitchen chapter comes to a close

details remain: how to finish the wood, both cabinet and floor, continuing to spruce up the excellent little 1950's Dixie
stove that i brought in from the airstream trailer, the decision about the pots and pan shelves. but otherwise, done.
all is functional, nothing is leaking.

I love the collaged wall behind your stove. What is it, fabric, paper or
paint? I can relate to the happiness
of it all being over and finished.

yes..Yay! everything feels
bigger, i feel taller, even!
yup, Dixie is a little propane. there is no natural gas out here and propane is what most have. or
electric and i don't like cooking with electric.
nance...some of that good moroccan
food would be nice? i would pour
the water for our hand washing...
and patty, it's all collaged from
national geographics. i have a lifelong habit of taking pics i like out and just keeping them.
did this wall about maybe 8 years
ago? on a weekend when i was "having feelings" and needing a way to work them through. pics
glued on and then i think i used
some kind of polyurethane? i
wash it a lot...its held up. a
great way to deal with funky walls.
hides a multitude of flaws.
