hi grace, looking deeply and questioning, maybe "slow looking", is a good way to learn what one likes. i could sit and look at this piece of yours for hours, but i'd also like to touch it...kaite

kaite...oh, bless you! i was thinking i was the only person awake in this moment. i don't quite want to give up this day...
and it was very quiet "out there"
but...HERE YOU ARE! thank you.
i am very very happy with this
cloth. i want to now, maybe, only
do some stitching? maybe no more
pieces...just thread....
we'll see. and after the stitching, the
touch
will say something too.........
thank you for being here at this hour...
i am not usually up.
thanks again x lots

hi grace, yes it is 2.40 pm down here, and i am fully awake and just finished a coffee and tiny piece of baked cheesecake.
yes i would agree, stitching kantha-like would be lovely, it doesn't need any more cloth additions just now, but keep your mind open in case it speaks to you later...kaite

kaite..it's only 10:40 something
here. how cool...YOU ARE HERE!
kantha. yes.
i am really happy.
i talked tonight to the woman who
was my first "mentor"...that was
with drawing. and i didn't know
how to convey the feeling of this
cloth stuff. funny.
again, thanks for eating cheesecake
and having coffee. but..i am feeling self begin to drift...
well...tomorrow will bring more than i can imagine in this moment.
xoxoxo, g

8am Sunday morning.
I see you've been working magic with your cloth. I too could look at it for hours.

oh grace i missed the party last night... :) taking care of lots of kids...

this is so BEAUTEEFULL!!! i feel as if i'm looking from inside a warm home with the light of early day shining through the doorway. and the smoke rising has spirit making it's way up to the sky

i am just so touched by this piece.... the portal through which we all must go.... creativity and spirit wait there. and the light that emanates... so full of potential. thank you for making this...

There is such depth and anticipation here. What is beyond the window? Who - or what - might pass by? Or come in? Are we inside or outside? I love this piece. I'm eager to see what the stitching will bring.

manya karen martiAnon deb michele nandas kathy and kaite
thank you so much as in So Much
for your encouragement and "being
here". it's really amazing to
try to wrap my mind around the fact that i was able to share this
particular happiness all over this
planet..
am going to just let things be now
for a while and see what comes...
and i thought this afternoon...
what if this is the only thing ever
of this kind that rises up for me?
and then i thought...it would be
enough.
thank You so much

when something is so good we wonder what will be next or even will there be a next time? but there always is... we just can't get too attached.

late to the party. i am guilty of sneaking down to the sea...

jude...
the story of my life..sneaking
down to the river, tho.

and yup, it is real. including
a suspended globe. am waiting to
hear from Martha Stewart.

nandas, oh but i waaaaant to stay
attached...but yes....
and so, i am busily stitching a
variation of the theme. maybe that will help.
