Sheets were hanging out today. Smell so good. Two bases pinned and ready to baste. I think I can do this
That's a bunch of cozy clothes, Grace. Definitely home :>]
or where you get to keep your clothes without someone else tossing them...k.
i have one in my mind....you know, around here people frown on clotheslines? too bad, it is a great way to view cloth on a regular basis. i have one outside too.you know, my grandmother wove her sheets. they were stitched together from narrow strips of cloth.
Simplicity at it's best, love it. I thought datura were white? Camera? or they come in blue? Happy belated solstice. Great photo of flower as well as this line. :)
don't know why it says "anonymous" I have nothing to hide. :) this is helen. :)
helen...the Anonymous was the comment just before you...that'sMarti.your comment says Helen, but thereis no comment? other than to sayyou are not anon?????
No ,that was my comment, it's exactly what I wrote, but it posted as anonymous,I must have clicked the wrong button I'm known to do that, but it is my comment. any way.... Are Datura white? Is the camera making it blue? Just curious, because it sure is beautiful.
Clothes hanging on the line, dancing in the breeze and happy memories of time spent with my Mama. She would teach just how to place the pins on clothing, sometimes wanting all like colored items to be together which made hanging the wash, a fun game. But then would come the lessons in ironing, those I did not like.Speaking of Anonymous, this is Marti, who comments using Anonymous. I am one of grace's non-sewing friends, although I did take a stab at it this past weekend. I don't have a google account or blog and don't know what the other identities, openid,name/url actually mean so when I comment on grace's blog it will say Anonymous but I always sign my name Marti and grace responds back to me as Marti/Anon. Now either this has helped when you see Anonymous or thoroughly confused everyone...!Marti
helen ~ datura ARE white, butsome, small datura are tinged inlavendar.i don't know why the bloom alwaysappears this blue color whenphotographed at night, which isalways when it opens and is infull glory. used the flash, buteven if i don't, there is the sameblueish white? i think it's themagic. maybe because it is soincredibly intense....standing out so in a very singlular mannerfrom all the rest around it...itreally is stunning. it is anhallucinogenic so what ever that ismight also come into play????glad we got the Anon worked out.
One of my grandmothers has never had a dryer...hangs everything out to dry on the line.
reminds me of my old clothesline... we seem to have the same clothes :)
twhich aye...you made me laugh and also, itdoesn't surprise me that we seemto have the same clothes...maybe we are simultaneous selves.
i was reading your comment at spiritcloth that you lived in an econoline van and i laughed because i lived in a vw bus for a while... so we've lived in trailers, buses, the desert, have the same clothes and same mind... hahahahaha
