what if this?

not really this banner, not really the Raven
but the idea of what if there was a long cloth that i actually dyed mindfully
and then placed a "finished" cloth, the size of Raven, approximately like this.
and what if i then, just here and there placed small components?

This puts me in mind of a scroll...
somewhere to write what you want to
remember even if it isn't words exactly. I like it!

Patty~yes! like rememberance of a
particular string of days...in
this instance, looking at how the cloths are part of my life in this
home, in this little eco system here, in this part of my lifetime,
in this part of ......
of...... of......

I actually pulled out a piece of dyed fabric this morning to do the same thing. I had dyed the fabric and cut it up and stitched it into squares. I think I will fill it up with 'memory' pieces. Great idea.

deanna...thing is, i am in a very certain way avoiding cutting the dyed muslin. it really is something i don't want to do. not all the time, anyway...i just
am so, uh, so.. well, we will just use the word happy seeing it in it's most basic self, hanging there. i am very into translucence in all degrees. this would satisfy two loves; the beauty of the naked transluscent muslin and the desire to "mark" it with my
life.
or something.
but thank you for coming here!
