a quiet process. stopping to look a while at each step. talked to self, things like "okay, this goes here, pin it. and again. good." dogs lined up and watched, listened.
i am just going to let it all rest here for a while.
This butterfly is ready to flit about; maybe it is the choice of fabric but she seems to not want to be pinned down. Did you find that this 2nd butterfly adapted easier to use of patterns once you had done the first one? Or did the pattern sort of imprint and your fingers took over, she floats on the screen...
And as I went back to this patchwork butterfly 2, I noticed that on her lower right wing, she has a green eye and she is looking at you and saying, we are ready to fly.
beautiful butterfly grace. yes the colors are shifting in this one, magic is happening.
i'm very much enjoying your cloth adventures... from spirit cloth to patchwork beats. i guess living a bit vicariously. i'm in the beginnings of a big move. pain in my butt. so some things packed here, others there... but soon will be settled again. soon.
jennlui...more Life will come. Guaranteed. i look forward to your changes and send all good vibes for the transition... love to you and the partner in crime...
patty...they are funny. were surprised by my talking to my sewing. we have oh so well established routines here and anything unusual is of great interest to them. and i'm thinking that that eye is so great, i might replace that piece so i can use it on another cloth...?....

Oh, dogs are good critics, I think,
the best. They wait and always give us our full due.
I like that you're taking the butterfly through all the transformations. And yes, there is
an eye!
