i will go in
A door, yes - or the eye of a needle.
Or maybe a key hole?
Or a skylight revealing a storm gathering in a New Mexican night sky. Marti
the thing about the simplicity is that it can be ALL these things
No matter what - as long as it´s pink + grey... ;)
Indeed a helper because I opened the door, peered through the eye of the needle, peeked in the key hole, looked up at the sky light and created at last, a google account so that my comments would no longer be anonymous and you would no longer keep needing to reply to Marti/Anon. Proud to say that I am follower # 28 on windthread and my little icon is a photo of my dye jars.
fieldlady~ my heart is happy. andi can say at this time to all who might look here and at others' little blog houses, marti andnance, nandas, are two women thati by chance found over 6 years agowhen we were participating in awomens online writing group. for reasons, the online writing fell away but we did not. and we have watched and encouraged each other on a continuous basis over these years, proving beyond a shadow ofa doubt that the internet is avery real and functional family, ifone choses.it's a happy day, marti... love.
so many possibilities
deborah ~ i know. i just keeplooking at it. also...i love the pics some daysago on your blog of the dock andlilypads...they flooded me withmemory of my aunt's cottagewhere i spent summers...just likethat. docks. the lapping of thewater...
i think of a door, an opening to the cosmos. to the infinite swirl of nebulas and black space.
twhich...i think most a kind ofdoor, but a door of consciousnessmaybe.
yes... in my sci-fi geekoverse cosmos, space, black infinite represents consciousness. (i was thinking of 2001 space odyssey) the monolith representing the realizing of everything that is... looking into the black void... emptiness black fullnessmaybe too much info :) but..."The ambiguity, abstraction, plasticity and strangeness of the monolith is a placeholder for anything that encourages an evolutionary leap in human consciousness." but i'd say for humans in consciousness as i don't think there's any differentiation.hahahahaha sorry grace if too way out :)maybe too many words for the simplest of all...
twich...never too much. and ido agree with the FOR humans inconsciousness. there is greatsimilarity in tibetan buddhismwhich is my sci fi. all this, whythis particular cloth will takea lot of "still" time...justlooking. don't know if therewill be any "more" to it ever?but something in me wants tomaybe just a certain kind of kantha.
