this morning
i put the little scraps that were along with the two packets of cloth that
i got from
Deb Lacativa. (One was called Swamp Thing)
(i like the cloth and i like its name)
put those scraps in a bowl of water because they
were all squinched in one of her little crocheted pots...
then made a little scrap line for them to dry.
it looked like a party. you know, how you get the
house all ready for company, everything in place and
then once the party begins, it's all everywhere?
maybe today was a kind of birthday party.

that's awesome. i'm a bit behind and owe an email. everything should be in the mail tomorrow.
much love to you
i want to come party like that!
before i read anything, i looked at the picture and thought it looked like you were having a party... so yes... maybe the spirits are celebrating!
Beautiful Grace - wish I was there to eat some cupcakes with you. Wish we were all there with you! Love the globe too. Gilly
feast...count me in...then I red your post...still feast!
dagdag
yes yes birthday party !!! hugsss
What a happy picture. Spirit dancing.
Streamers of cloth. I can imagine that taking the bits of cloth out of the crocheted pot might be like those party favors that came with a little mouth piece. You blew on the piece and the paper furled out. As you pulled the cloths out of the pot, they unfurled their happy colors.
will there be hats?
Celebratory prayer flags.
a bright happy room
A party for the whole world...
how appropriate that the globe is there since it is a party for bloggers all over the world. wishing you a fabulous life ahead.
How cool! I never realized just how much cloth could fit in there. Time to make some more!
deanna...YES! exactly!
Deb...a LOT was in there and
i loved/love these small pieces
as much as the large, and maybe
in a way, even more, because they
are just a perfect size as is...
i don't have to go through that
angst of cutting/ripping.
Really wonder Full.
Maria~Thank you for coming here
I know you said your birthday was this month, is it the 17th? You're a scorpio? If so, the horoscope for you says the next 12 months you will be unstoppable and not afraid to take risks that bring rewards. My birthday is in November, but November 28th, I am a sagitarrius (and very true to form if you read a discription). If it's your birthday, Happy birthday to you (pretend you hear me singing) ha!
forgot to mention, lots to look at in your photos. Love the gourd pencil holder in the other photo and the piece of wood art on the left in this photo. Also the (appears to be metal?) loom/ art type thing hanging from the ceiling. what exactly is it? I just like the look.
Your grass basket with the leather handle wrap..I have the same one only mine is blue and gold. It's one of my most favorite possessions. It holds all my handwork/tools

and Helen and helen again, it's
some kind of gasket hanging from
the ceiling. one of my most
treasured things...has hung many
places, a lot of them outside.
i found it in an arroyo when i was
living for a while in Snowflake,
Arizona. the gourd pencil holder:
i grow them sometimes...have a ton
"undone". draw on them, paint them....or, used to. i like how
you notice details.
so, thanks to everyone for coming
to my party. otherwise, it was
the dogs and cat.
and Helen again, my birthday is
really yet to come...am really
spending time with it this year,
since it is what i consider a
significant one...it's really the
30th. Sagittarius again!...there
are lots of us here!
i'm late to the party again miss grace... i've brought party blowers and dance music! woohoo! maybe it'll last until the 30th? and beautiful prayer flags honoring a most wonderful woman...
