Deanna..i changed the pic just as you commented about missing the wisps...am still thinking. just helps me to see it here... gives me a little distance....
what i am realizing with this cloth is that i make cloths, this one in particular, as if it is the only cloth i will ever make, as if everything has to be there... thinking a lot about this.
grace, i am so tired right now (spent day with the lil' moonface niece)... my brain is not functioning to put together words... i will be back in the morning. and the cloth is beautiful now and before. your work always feels like sacred markers or recordings...
Huhmmmn, well, I wouldn't have thought it because I really liked that wind, but I kind of like this without the wind in there. I'm a bit surprised to say that. I REALLY like the bottom left corner now that it's a triangle. I couldn't really imagine what Jude meant, but it really looks good and also with the bit of space between the bottom corner and the middle part. And I especially like having the moth be a little more present than he was with the wind sweeping under him. I'm really enjoying watching you mull over this cloth. I agree about creating as if the piece you're doing is the only one you'll be making. I always approach that way too.

i think the color is a little off on the wisps. just looking back and forth
it's not the wisps so much
that in my opinion throws it off

I think it is just about perfect! I still might make the moon darker, but maybe not! Taking away the wisps was a good idea.
i am just looking.
