skilled enough to fully embroider. that with my ability, it's almost best to leave some negative space? eee. don't know.

beautiful work grace! well i'm for sure not an embroiderer either, no where close, but i do love this and the space between stitches. seems to give your magic friend a bit of texture and character. but ravens are shapeshifters, so who knows which shape it will appear next.
and that little patch of fabric top right... with the worn hole, another portal in your work? is it just me or a reoccurring theme? love it either way. i think i had mentioned this before, on your post with piece with the blue center and pen doodling... how i love portals, and doors... symbols i am researching and feeling out.

this particular little "hole"
was in the plaidy part...so i loved it for that...a Way Through.
we are always looking at ways through i think, and best if we don't know what is on the other side, but just know that going through is the Way There.
sometimes, i wonder about myself,
but mostly, it's been an ok way to
live.
