it takes a looooong time to create a sanctuary for things
last year was the first time for a
walking stick
it felt to me like a stigmata, as in a mark of ecstasy

Grace, it's so good for the soul to create a sanctuary. i've done that and it's taken me just under 6 years.

i began 15 years ago, many "interruptions" but
then for last 4 years or so, in earnest...
it's like a slow cloth in a way

i actually never imagined one would come.
never knew they lived in desert lands
and originating in the MidWest, I'd not seen
one since childhood there either
