something on my shower curtain

i will revise this post tomorrow.
am thinking that i might need to create
my own textiles for cloths...that i don't
have and can't have certain things that
i find self loving in jude's cloths....
and i also don't want to "get" them.
so...what to do?
will need to make some things. they
will be
faux
but...my own
faux
and so....?

is this something growing on your shower curtain? or are you drawing on it?
whatever... making your own cloth is good... however that connects with the shower curtain...my mind can only imagine.

Shell prints!
Do you have stuff lying around that you can make into cloth? This could get interesting.

faux..what is that? we work with what we love, finding it, getting it, making it, gathering..

Hunting and gathering...I look forward to seeing what you come up with Grace.
Is that a rubbing on your shower curtain? Like that design.

When a young radio DJ criticized Monk and said that he played the wrong keys.. Monk responded Tell that kid there aren't any wrong keys on the piano. So "faux" ?
there isn't any faux.. it is all real.

Grace, perhaps it's my up bringing, but I'm constantly making what I want or need. One can paint, do rubbings, stamp, dye, draw, oil paint sticks, discharge etc. to alter fabric. Very rarely is there anything I have that is truly ugly and can't be transformed, even cut up to obscure the print or color, and i never think of them as "faux".I think of them as "original".

nance..well, you know me. always
coming up with something. no
it's not growing, as in black mold.
it's some uh, soot, on the bottom
of the big pot i put in the
bathtub to get it out of the way.
but i noticed it, the image that
it made brushing against the shower curtain and i really liked the image. got me thinking.

making your own cloth, that will be nice. I have a cloth in the compost heap, I'm so curious what will happen to it, perhaps it will completely disappear and become fertilizer :)

Happy New stitching Year!

Happy New Year Grace! Can I send you some of the pinky red fabric the Guy and the Dog found? If so, please send me your coordinates, it could be there in time for the boro class...and would make the cloth go farther. Make it go far, even (tee hee).
