traveling mercies
Anne LaMott has a book...Traveling Mercies
and i looked at these after Jude's comment about a
tent
and thought yes...
these Window Hangers could be anywhere.
originally i was going to stitch all the 9 patches
together. Maybe not.
Maybe at this point in time, i will leave
them more
flexible
to
place.
as is, they could each hang from any
branch, anywhere.
...bird flags?.... OHHHHH. I HAVE A HUGE
WHAT IF
IDEA...........~

Love these. You have made your own window panes!
yeah. like living in a tent.
Susan..and they must have a little
magic in them...
look who appeared!

these are beautiful... i like the mercy they give...
Lovely... especially that ONE pane of color! I can't wait to see your "what-If".

OH! Forgot to say that I really like that book by Anne LaMott
They fit just so perfect...what a wonderful windown adornment, that beautiful transparency so you can see the cloths bones.
That would make me very happy to have those hanging in my window.
I must look up Anne LaMott's book.

i am very happy by these today.
they've been there for some days,
i have kept looking...but today
they did something different.
the book is great....she is
an interesting and unique person...
i do have a little trouble with
the presbyterian energy, but....
oh well...
great definition of tone and texture here, better than a tent....they are all nylon now days...

don't let it go, go with it.
Jude~no. i can't let it go. it
makes me want to cry. not in
a sad way, but in the way you
were talking about the other day.
just the incredible beauty of
living. windows. tents. being
inside a place. or not. a Place.
a "real"Place. a Place in one's
spirit.
i wrote to Wendy today asking
her permission to make yet another
Window Hanger for the kids.
the kids already knew and had
talked about it to her.
and so it goes. Hey Ho.
Wow...the seams seem...I don't know what! Just right!
