falling in love

i fall in love with
light
with how my house
receives light
how things i love in my house
receive light

this time of year

when the morning light enters
in the most uh, Sure way,
as if it is seeking certain
things and places it remembers
from past years at this time
of the circling round

i surprised it by setting two
jars for it on the window ledge
on left is New Mexico Olive
on right dried heads of a native flower
i can't remember name of right now..
they are glowing

Susan...oh yes you DID post a light
photo too! it is truly a
singular day, isn't it.

i need to learn how to highlight
other people's blog links.

I love the light photos... and the house photos. Its such an intimate and wonderful thing to share- I like peeking around in people's living and creating spaces so much - getting a sense of the stories they are weaving and what is inspiring them. And I especially like the photo of the cat enjoying the sunshine....

deanna...i only get this way when
i have four full days in a row to
be home...
i need to try to do that more. i
get really happy.

jude...you took the right ones.
glad my excess isn't annoying.
i'd probably do it anyway, tho.
i like to see how things look
magnified twice.

Just got back from a road trip. Good thing I wasn't driving. I would have stopped at all kinds of wonderful spots just to soak in the light.
