Thomas Hardy describes dusk so beautifully in Return of the Native. It had such an impact on me as a thirteen year old when I first read it. Gilly

i have not yet read that book gilly... i will put it on my list.
this photo for me is other worldly. brings to mind the word crepuscule from the french...although it is an english word as well... it is well beyond that time of day here... and i am ready to relax!

Ahhh, look at the way all the shapes reveal themselves. Losing color can be a valuable way of looking, I think. One can see form and graphics without being enticed/distracted by color...

An important photo, this one.

What a great collection of work from this summer. I too find myself sitting back and thinking more and more about my work and where I want to go with it. Jude just has that effect on me!
