Sky cloth with a magical opening where you can climb out or climb in. A portal that looks out onto a special place. This weave, the colors remind me of a dappled forest where the light shines on the wood bark on tree trunks, on the forest floor; where discoveries can be found looking down,up,around, near, far, inside, outside; where it is still and a butterfly can come and land or fly through and lead a child, lead you or I to a place that lets you feel so many things...
marti...then, it is good. thesewords are perfectthis image of climbing out orclimbing in...and i love thewordclimbing herea perfect wordthank you and much much love,
Wow, this butterfly is flying towards the moon. It's lovely Grace, the cloth makes me think of Mother Earth.
Sandra...Yes!...more a good senseof it...earth.the other was just Wind, ephemeral, this then, twice here, comingthrough as solid. the whole cloth, though it is thesame dimensions, is heavier...the kantha sides and bottom are3 layers instead of two.oh...this is good.we have earthforest, bark and tree trunks.thank you
empty of intent
before looking at a close-up, it appeared very textural, 3D like. beautiful cloth. intent is very powerful so it is wise that you are treading cautiously.
It looks very soft and inviting and at the same time makes me think of copper shining in the sun...it also evokes a wind chime sound for me.
jude...yes. the others were intheir way collaborations betweenme and the girls. this last isthe only thing that i am makingFOR them, for the energy thatWendy creates with them. it isnot my story at all but a placeof cloth where any story canoccur. at least this is what ihope.
deanna...yes. intent is sometimesgood but not here.
Suzanna...a wind chime sound...ahhhh. and copper, ahhhh again.it IS such soft fabric..it'srayon, which i love so much. whenwe get to the Advanced Cloth toCloth and jude teaches aboutthe qualities of fabrics, i willfinally learn about this particularold kind of rayon. it rips inthe most elegant way and the littlefibers at the edges make me swoon.i love it much more than any silkexcept noil and gauze.
This one seems to glow in the light parts.
Yvonne...i want it to glow. amthinking about copper wiretransmits electricityelectricity=energy

Rayon! A surprise to me, but when I look close I definitely see what you mean about the edges. Yum.
oh i remember this skirt grace... beautiful. i bet it is really soft to the touch... my eyes see a magical knot hole in an old old tree... butterfly sitting on the edge, letting you know it's okay to journey through... maybe it's her home
twhIch...ah yes. another treevision. this is good. i'm gladyou remember the skirt, how iwas so hesitant to ask jude about "the r word".
Grace, this is fine. It's like thefeeling I get from sitting meditation-Empty/Full of the moment. So very wonderful this is!
