Ok, I wasn't going to go all the way to George Burns, but the posture and the dwarfing by your girls has me giggling now. Anyway, he was funny and wonderful and wise, so I'd take it.

kathy,yes..it is a funny pic but i
think will always be my favorite
and that was a work weekend..
it's even funnier when they are
spiffed up with me, pretty much
as is, as always, in the middle.

it's a long summer. too hot to get out....in the 110's in the mountains...that's rare here. we're setting records.

playing all day with the kids. stitching, working on making smaller stitches (i think i'm a traditionalist in some ways)
cooking....really really enjoying homecooking. it'd gotten away from me for awhile.

making the money, or non money, balance...summers are always hard due to my husbands contract with the college. we go three months with no checks coming in and live off what we've saved. it's always challenging and inspiring, but no real time to write.

i've missed you dearly!! i can say that i'm just an inch away from blogging again every single time i visit you!! you're inspiring my dear!!

mnem...you have things to write.
but only in their time. i would
always look forward to that...
