Continuing, but a brief rest for now
this, i think, is enough for now.
the leaves need to have brown attachment stems to the branch
the rising Sun needs more, as does the silk ray of light
most of all, the chrysalis, or cacoon needs work to resemble more closely the photograph i sent earlier.
it needs shaping and it needs the little decorations of ever so tiny pieces of thorn that the Russian Olive
branch provided. (dianna..the little pretzel looking things)

Did that pretzel thing hatch a moth?? That strange image is still with me.....!
Grace I love how that branch sort of takes you out of the picture then back in again...like a meandering thought and then concentrating again.
Jacky xox
i like the journey off the edge

valerianna...i love the NEW
photograph of the single chair
against the magnificant sky!!!
yes. the Pretzel thing did come
out and is still a mystery. there
was an opening and that's all i
know. i will continue to try to
find someone in that field who
can tell me. i have brought her
work of art in. have it here as
inspiration for making and for
life.
jacky...yes, it was a good thought
and i really appreciate how you
offer a specific thought for me...
thank you and
isn't your horse beautiful in the
collage?
am looking SOSOSOSO forward to
what these last months will
cause to happen...i am just totally
in love with cloth. it's embarassing.
jude~ yes. off the edge. i think
that might happen often.
yes off the edge. i like that as a what if, maybe cause that is the way i feel most of the time off the edge. raven
its Beautiful !
raven...it feels like a good place to me
cherry ann ~ thank you! so are
your photographs!
deanna, i misspelled your name
sorry. had a very good friend
dianna once and it got tangled.
no problem, Grace. I knew it was me you were talking about. so sad that this class has ended. hope there will be many more from Jude and more beautiful pieces from you to admire.
deanna, i am needing this pause.
it has been since mid may and i
have many pieces started but un
finished. i am really wanting to
work on them, going back to the
Cloth to Cloth, see the journey
in these pieces, see where i have
gotten, see where i might need to
go. i also am thinking i need to
MAYBE think in terms of making some pieces that "go together"...
what will i DO with a trillion
cloths????
do you make large quilts out of
what you create? it's just a
thought, but a thought just the same.
This cloth is so lovely and I can't wait to watch the continuing changes in it! I love the branch going off the left edge! It adds so much...
Debi
Grace, sure do agree about needing a break. It's like it all needs to absorb and stew a bit.... And I have a sweater to finish knitting before fall. :)

like that too and want to somehow
let blend a little more? i really
am learning from these small
problem solving events. visited
your blog and think of you in school....
