?

have a thing about just adding something that "looks good" but is not "about" the cloth....
so...can't let it go for the night.
holding it, it FEELS very good...the butterfly now and the light odd piece. it feels very balanced.
but
and so...i think...what is missing from the story...the sun light...?

a piece of glennis' silk is pinned.
now, can go to sleep. i need to be up at 3:30.

i actually love the difference in photos ar different times of day. well you know how i like to paint with dolce silk... but what i like here also is how the shape of the moth is mimicked in this slice of sunlight. and the sudden wash of color.

jude...this is a step away from
my "purist" self, but what if that
white shape is a chrysalis, a
cacoon?.......things rise in the
mind and float

there something in this about being still - enough to attract a butterfly

the stitched/drawn lines are very nice

The new color suggests an amazing bird to me...a different dimension...

purist. it has a meaning, a mood, but is it ever real?

grace Forrest~Maestas said...

jude~something "broke" yesterday,
broke as in like a fever breaks
or a spell.
and i am not at all sure what is
real and i am not at all sure it
matters.
i just want to sew

sometimes when you study a foreign language, you study and study. you make progress but it doesn't all come together right away. then after studying a long time, something "breaks" and you are free... you can speak the language, communicate on a new level...

nddas/nance this is a very
interesting analogy...very
help FULL...
i am not knowing how to speak
any of it with stitch/cloth
but still....the thing has broken
