sometimes when I can't sew
it has to be enough to just create some kind of "installation".
as in pinning this piece of silk to a piece of cloth, then, both
to the curtain at the end of the living room.
as I looked at this, I though, what on earth would I DO with
this piece of silk .... anyway
that could possibly make it better, or more
than it is just as is?

what you've done is remarkable. ( i believe you're referring to the black piece) brilliant actually. if this were hanging in a gallery i would not move from it because it's whispering something so subtly....almost an echo, almost a reflection, almost like the sister to a shadow, yet in showing all, it's hidden itself completely.

it is enough just to let it be. Attach it to a black piece of fabric. The juxtaposition makes the silk more ghostly and delicate.
